The RMR® Type 2 Adjustable LED sight empowers users to control the illumination settings directly. Convenient buttons located on the sides of the optic allow for easy adjustments of brightness, toggling between manual and automatic modes, and powering down the sight for storage. In automatic mode, the operation mirrors that of the LED RMR version. If the user selects manual mode, the sight will maintain this setting for 16.5 hours after the last button press. Following this period, the optic automatically switches back to the default mode, ensuring it is ready for the next use.
All RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED sights are compatible with night vision devices, with the 3.25 MOA dot size being particularly popular. Users can also lock the buttons to ensure that the RMR operates only in automatic mode, preventing accidental button presses that could disrupt the aiming solution. The 3.25 MOA dot in the RM06 is the most versatile and favored among all RMR dot sizes, being sufficiently small for accurate shooting at distance while remaining large enough for quick acquisition.
Note: The RMR® Type 2 shares the same physical dimensions and mounting footprint as the original RMR Type 1. When choosing an RMR for installation on Glock® MOS, Springfield® OSP, Walther® PDP, or H&K® VP9 Optics Ready platforms, a Trijicon RMR® mounting kit (AC32064) is necessary.
